To ensure clarity and peace of mind, please take a moment to review the terms and conditions that apply to all bookings at Destinations Motor Lodge. These cover key details such as reception hours, check-in and check-out times, tariffs, cancellations, and guest responsibilities during your stay.

The fine print made simple.

  • Reception hours

    • Our Reception is open 9am to 10am and 2pm to 7pm daily.

    • If you're arriving outside our reception hours, please advise us so you can be informed of our late check-in procedure.

    • Our Reception is closed all day on Christmas Day and check-ins are by arrangement.
  • Check-in/Check-out

    • Check-in is available from 2pm.

    • Our check-out time is by 10am.

    • Early check-in and/or late check-out are by arrangement only and are subject to availability.  This may incur additional charges depending on the time requested.

    • If you want to extend this time, please contact us on 06 374 8055 and we will advise you accordingly. Please note there may be a late check out fee and this will be subject to availability at the time.

    • If you're departing before Reception opens in the morning, please lock your unit and leave your key in the Dropbox outside Reception.
  • Tariffs

    • All rates quoted are on a per night basis and include 15% GST.

    • A 2% credit card fee will be applied.

    • Payment is required at check-in if your booking isn't pre-paid.

    • For non-contact check-ins, payment is processed from the credit card we have on file with a 2% credit card fee added.
  • Cancellation/Refund Policy

    • Cancellations up to 48 hours before the booked date will incur no fees.

    • If a booking is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, the first night is payable.

    • If any booking results in a no-show, the credit card provided will be charged for the first night of the reservation.

    • For group bookings of three or more units, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking.

    • If a group books online, a 25% deposit may be requested to secure the booking.

    • If a group booking is cancelled within the 48-hour cancellation period, you will be liable for the full booking amount.
  • Changing a reservation

    • Any change in the duration of a reservation will be treated as a new booking and additional charges may apply.

    • Any extension to a booking is subject to availability of rooms.

    • Earlier departure than the reserved duration will not result in a refund unless management is able to resell the booked accommodation at short notice.

    • Please make sure you check your reservation details carefully and advise us immediately of any adjustments required.

    • Failure to advise us of the modifications required will be deemed as acceptance by you that the reservation is correct and if there is a no-show, you will be charged for the first night's stay.
  • Credit card guarantee

    • We require a valid credit or debit card at the time of booking.

    • Your credit/debit card details will be held in our secure booking system.

    • The equivalent of one night's accommodation may be processed once before your arrival up to 48 hours in advance and within the cancellation period.  This is at the discretion of the manager who will decide based on booking demand at the time.  Please ensure your card has sufficient funds to cover this amount because if your card is declined, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

    • If you have been not been charged in advance, full payment is required at check-in.
  • Smoking & vaping

    • Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all of our rooms and units.

    • Smoking and vaping are permitted outside your room/unit but all your windows and doors must be closed and the ashtrays provided must be used.

    • Please be considerate of your neighbours and all guests at all times.
  • Damage

    • Please report any breakage or damage that occurs in your unit or on the motel's property.

    • Any damage may be charged to the credit or debit card you have provided.

    • Spills can often be remedied without additional costs if we are advised early and are able to treat the spillage immediately.
  • Events beyond our control

    Destinations Motor Lodge will not be in any breach of this agreement or in any way liable if it is prevented from complying with the supply of accommodation and other related services by reason of :


    • Act of God
    • Act of Public Enemy
    • War
    • Earthquake
    • Riot
    • Fire
    • Storm
    • Flood
    • Explosion
    • Compliance with any Law of Government Restraint Order
    • Rule Regulations
    • Strikes
    • Lockouts
    • Any other cause not reasonably within the control of the motel
