  • Check-out

    • Please drop your key in the Key Drop Box. 

    • If you want to extend this time, please contact us on 06 374 8055 and we will advise you accordingly. Please note there may be a late check-out fee and this will be subject to availability at the time. 

    • If you're departing before Reception opens in the morning, please lock your unit and leave your key in the Dropbox outside Reception.

  • Room servicing
    • For guests staying more than one night, daily servicing is available on request. Simply place the “Room Service” sign (located on the back of your door) outside if you would like your room serviced.

    • If the sign is not displayed, housekeeping will not enter your room.

    • For stays of four nights or longer, sheets will be changed after the second night — but again, only if the “Room Service” sign is out.
  • Payment

    • Full payment of your booking is required at check-in.

    • We accept all major credit cards : American Express, MasterCard, Visa.

    • We also accept Bankcards and Debit Cards.

    • 2% credit card fees apply.

    • Cash payments not secured by a credit card may be asked to pay a cash bond and photo ID is required.
  • Extra person charges
    • NZD25 charge per room per night per extra person.

    • There is no charge for children under 1 but they must  be registered with your booking in accordance with Health & Safety Regulations.
  • Parking

    • We provide free, on-site parking.

    • There is parking space for one car per unit.

    • Oversized or trailer parking is by appointment.
  • Connecting to wi-fi

    Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.  The login in and password to this service is provided under the QR code in each room.

  • Sky TV

    • We have MySky decoders providing a range of channels in all rooms which give you the freedom to record your favourite shows to play back at a time that suits you.

    • Most of the motel's TVs can be operated with only the Sky remote including turning the television on and off.

    • If you have no picture, you have possibly bumped the AV button on the top left of the Sky remote.  Tap this again until you highlight HDMI1.  If you need help, give us a call and we'll be more than happy to assist.

    • If you have used the TV remote to turn on the television, make sure that Sky has been turned on too with the Sky remote.  The green light on the Sky decoder means that Sky is ON.

    • Most units also have Smart televisions providing the ability to use the TV remote for Chrome-casting or for watching Netflix, Disney, Neon etc. if you have an account for these streaming services.
  • Heating/air conditioning

    The remote for the heating and air-conditioning unit is on the wall beside the bedroom/bathroom door.  Don't hesitate to ask if you need assistance in operating these units.

  • Laundry facitilites

    We have a self-operated guest laundry available to all guests.


    Charges :

    • $5 per wash
    • $5 per dry

    Please enquire at Reception when you need to use this facility.


  • EV charging
    Electric car charging; gray car with charging cable plugged in; outdoors.
    • Charging your EV from your unit is prohibited in compliance with Health & Safety Regulations and with our building insurance policy.

    • If you want to quick-charge your EV, there are charging points close to the motel at Gordon Street Chargenet and BP Charge at BP Connect.
  • Noise

    We ask that you consider all guests during your stay.


    • All noise is to be curtailed by 9:30pm.

    • All visitors must leave the property by 9pm.

    • If noise persists after 10pm, we will remind you of our Noise Policy once and if the noise continues, the likely resolution will be eviction from the property without a refund.
  • Smoking/vaping

    • Smoking/vaping is not permitted in any of the motel's units. 

    • Smoking/vaping is permitted outside your unit and you must shut your door and windows and use the ashtray provided.

    • We ask that you have consideration for your neighbours and all guests when you are smoking/vaping outside.
